The Tiger Brennan Overpass is a joint initiative between the Australian and NT governments to improve road safety outcomes at the intersection. Approx 20,000 commuters use Tiger Brennan Drive most weekdays.
Construction of the Overpass began in early 2023 and the Community Open Day gave Territorians the first opportunity to inspect the progress of works.
Viewing was possible from several vantage points on the Overpass. As the site was still a working construction area, Territorians were bussed to and from the viewing areas via shuttle buses.
A free sausage sizzle topped off the day!
